Welcome! My name is Samantha

A woman with dark hair and a floral pink and black jacket smiling at the camera inside a colorful, vibrant alley decorated with neon lights, banners, and painted walls, likely in an art or cultural area.
A woman and a man are in a hospital room, with the woman lying down and the man leaning over her, appearing to be in labor or delivering a baby.

But most people call me Sam!

I am originally from the Bronx/ Hudson Valley, NY. My husband and I moved to Chattanooga back in 2017 and have since fell in love with the city, adopted 2 dogs, got married and had our first baby.

When I’m not pursuing my passion for birth work you can find me teaching or practicing Ashtanga or Prenatal yoga, spending time in my kitchen either cooking or baking (my love language is food), going on long walks with my family, or spending time in our garden.

I am a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator and 5+ year yoga teacher serving families in the Chattanooga, TN area.

I found my passion for birth work through my own journey to motherhood and since I have become a huge birth rights advocate. I believe in informed decision making for all mothers and want you to know your options and prepare you with the tools for a positive birth experience. Birth can not only be a life changing experience, it can also be an empowering one!

I look forward to getting to know you and your family!

Your friend, the doula
